Currently, Rick holds the esteemed position of sergeant on patrol, where he leads by example and ensures the safety of his team. Additionally, he serves as the commander of the SWAT team, responsible for coordinating and executing high-risk operations. Furthermore, Rick imparts his extensive knowledge and experience as a course instructor for the department, sharing his expertise with aspiring law enforcement professionals. Driven by an unwavering passion for protecting individuals and their valuable assets, Rick has seamlessly integrated his law enforcement background into the realm of security. Recognized by the State of Tennessee, he possesses certifications to train unarmed security guards, specializing in Less than Lethal techniques, Baton usage, Taser deployment, De-escalation strategies, Safe Restraints, CPR, First-Aid, AED, Active Shooter response, and Defense Tactics. Rick’s commitment to excellence is unparalleled, as he strives to deliver the finest security services available in the entire state. A Tennessee native, Dustin feels privileged to be able to serve the state with exceptional security services. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice and has been involved in law enforcement since 2007. During his law enforcement career, Dustin has been certified as a Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Special Weapons and Tactics Operator. He is highly knowledgeable and educated in crime prevention, proactive policing strategies, private investigations, and event security projects. Since becoming a specialist in security services, Dustin holds a certification through the State of Tennessee to train armed and unarmed security guards, less lethal baton, de-escalation, and safe restraint. He has a passion for protecting people and their possessions. Dustin pledges to provide top-tier services, maintain integrity, and assert the highest level of professionalism.

Ryan Sherrill is a Managing Partner of Blue Life Security, LLC, where he oversees the company's strategic planning, and growth initiatives. With a deep understanding of security operations and a relentless commitment to excellence, Ryan has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint across Tennessee and into new markets. A decorated combat veteran, Ryan served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army Special Operations, where he developed his leadership skills and a strategic mindset under the most challenging conditions. His military background not only informs his approach to problem-solving but also ensures a disciplined and mission-driven focus in delivering superior security solutions. Ryan earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, further solidifying his roots in the Volunteer State and laying the foundation for his professional journey. Additionally, as an Eagle Scout, he embodies the principles of integrity, perseverance, and service, which continue to guide his leadership approach at Blue Life Security, LLC. Marcia is an accomplished professional with over 16 years of experience in customer service, security, and management. She began her career in customer service before transitioning to security, where she quickly rose through the ranks at Blue Life Security, starting as an armed guard and advancing to Regional Manager for East Tennessee. Currently, she serves as Business Development Coordinator, where she is instrumental in the development of new service areas and improvements to company processes. Marcia holds certifications in Tazer, Chemical Spray, Handle with Care, and De-escalation, highlighting her expertise in security and crisis management. She also earned a master’s degree in criminal justice with a focus on computer forensic investigation, enhancing her skills in threat assessment and loss prevention. A natural leader passionate about safety and justice, Marcia consistently brings her unique approach to everything she does.
