Jonathan Mathews joined the Blue Life Security Team in 2022 and has quickly advanced to the role of State Director, overseeing operations Tennessee. Jonathan’s leadership journey began with his service in the United States Army, where he developed strong mentorship, leadership, and discipline skills. With seven years of military experience, he serves as a vital link between regional managers and the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring seamless implementation of security operations and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. His dedication, commitment, and professionalism are evident in every aspect of his work. With extensive leadership experience, Jonathan plays a key role in supporting Blue Life Security’s mission to safeguard lives and assets with excellence and integrity.

Sean began his law enforcement career in October 2006 with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee, where he rose to the rank of Sergeant while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice from Bethel University. In 2021, he joined the Cookeville Police Department, further honing his skills and becoming an FBI-trained hostage negotiator and a Mental Health Crisis Intervention Team instructor. After three years, Sean transitioned to a sales role at Ford of Cookeville, leveraging his interpersonal skills. In May 2024, he was invited by former colleagues to join Blue Life Security, LLC, and is excited to embark on this new journey.

Phillip has over 25 years of customer service experience, starting as a vendor in the beverage sector before moving to product delivery. In 2021, he transitioned to the security industry and quickly became Regional Manager at Blue Life Security. He has been a key member of a deployment team, supporting Executive Protection Details and large public events. With nearly two years in management, Phillip oversees the entire Eastern region of Tennessee, known for his genuine approach and commitment to excellence.

Chris brings over a decade of experience in security operations and team leadership. His diverse background includes patrol work, tour security, event management, and hospitality security, providing him with well-rounded expertise across both public and private sector safety. He holds an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University at Buffalo. Chris is also a State-Certified Firearms Trainer in Tennessee, authorized to certify both Armed and Unarmed Guards, and an NRA-Certified Pistol and Rifle Instructor, reinforcing his leadership in training and developing security professionals.

Taylor Kapusta is a criminal justice professional with nearly a decade of progressive leadership experience. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Justice Administration with a concentration in Corrections and Investigations, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She most recently served as Warden while working in the correctional field. After quickly advancing through roles of increasing responsibility, Taylor gained an expertise in security operations, people management, and strategic planning. Alongside her extensive specialized training in investigations, emergency response, and leadership, she has coordinated innovative initiatives while mentoring staff through professional development and performance improvement.
